There is a brand new gloss in town! Meet Honeybuns, this special edition gloss is extra special to us because it was created by you, our Beauties! Did you know that we manufacture and develop all of our own products in our factory in South Florida? We have our own lab, engineers, and developers all in our headquarters. In 2019, we went on IG Live and you all helped us create our first-ever crowdsourced product, Glossip. Because of our ability to create a product from A to Z in such a short time, we wanted to give this another shot.
While you guys had the option to vote on what type of gloss you would like to see, from opaque to shimmer and from pink to mauve, we were hard at work in the OFRA lab live mixing a little bit of this and a little bit of that to make the perfect shade. Once the shade was exactly where you wanted it, we left it up to you guys to name it. What a treat! We got so many suggestions. We then picked a few names as finalists and set them up for head-to-head voting. The names went through 2 rounds and the winning name was….. Honeybuns! Some of the finalists included: Cinnamon, Love Letter, Brown Sugar, Hot Cocoa, and Auburn Spice. We’re glad you had to pick because there were so many great options!
Honeybuns is the perfect fit as a name! This gloss is everything sweet, but also perfect for spicing up your look. It is the definition of sweet with a cinnamon twist. The gloss turned out pretty pigmented, think the glossy sister to Palo Alto.
